Peer Review and Alternative Dispute Resolution Services

Peer Review Services

Forensic Architecture: Plaintiff and Defendant® provides experienced Peer Review services to Architects, Designers, Owners, and building professionals during pre-contract negotiations and all design phase activities, to minimize practice risk exposure. Additionally, we assist Agencies, Developers, and Contractors to apply Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC) principles to contract documents to minimize liability from flawed and non-coordinated instruments of service.

Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Qualifications

Founder of Forensic Architecture: Plaintiff and Defendant®, David Erik Chase, AIA, is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Court Mediator, Florida Supreme Court Qualified Arbitrator, East Coast American Arbitration Association Arbitrator, and Architectural Expert Witness with over 100 design and construction dispute resolution cases in 10 states. Mr. Chase’s extensive ADR experience is founded on 55+ years as designer, interior designer, specifier, project manager, architect-of-record, and principal-in-charge, where he has personally been responsible for approximately $1 billion of designed and constructed projects in both private and public project types and contract categories. The former long-term President and CEO of the (then) fifth largest architectural firm in the USA, Mr. Chase is currently a licensed Architect in 21 states
